• 2016 Graduation Information and Frequently asked questions:

Finals are now June 2 & 3, not June 1 & 2 as is published on the Senior Need to Know pages?  Exams are June 2 (English and Science from 8:00-9:30) and June 3 (Math and Social Studies 9:40-11:00).  If a student does not have a second final (Science or Social Studies), he/she may leave the building at 9:30.

If my student does not have a first exam, do they have to come to school?  Yes, we need to take attendance.  Students not having a first exam will have a study hall.

Are the seniors required to attend school on Mon & Tues June 6 & 7?  Seniors must be in school on Monday, June 6, for graduation practice. This is mandatory.   They will report to their first period class and then come to the auditorium for practice.  On June 7, they are again required to be in school for practice in the morning and we will transport them to the Giant Center for practice there.  They must ride the bus to and from.  They may leave when we are finished and returned to the school.  Usually around lunch.  11-12:30  depending on how it goes.

Practice for graduation -- which days/times, and is transportation provided or required by student?  Answered above

We ordered a cap & gown for my student-- is that being held at school?  (We received announcements, etc.) For fear of students losing them, they are handed out during graduation practice.

Are tickets required for family at graduation, and is there a limit as to how many people each student can have in attendance at the Giant Center? No tickets, bring as many people as you want.  Parking passes will be given to the students at practice. If more are needed they will be in the main office.

When should students be at the Giant Center on graduation night? Students should be there by 6:30 pm.  The ceremony begins at 7:30 pm.

What should my student wear for graduation?  Boys should wear a white dress shirt, dark pants, dark tie, dark socks, and dark dress shoes.

Girls should wear white or light colored dress clothing.  Pants or dress.  White and light colored shoes.  No flip flops

Additional Information:  All textbooks must be turned in, all obligations must be paid.
