For the 2023-24 school year, the district will continue to participate in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) Program at some of its schools. To be deemed a community-eligibility provision site, the needy-disadvantaged student percentage population at a school needs to be at or around 40% or higher of the total student population. Students attending these schools are eligible to receive a complete reimbursable meal, breakfast and lunch, each school day at no cost/charge. A qualified reimbursable meal requires students to select 3 of 5 eligible meal components. One selection must be either a fruit or vegetable. Snacks and other food items are not covered and there will be a charge for those.
